Wacker 1000 cst Silicone Fluid Technical Data Sheet
Benefits
  • Clear, odorless, and colorless with high purity.
  • Excellent stability of physical properties over a wide temperature range, with minimal viscosity change.
  • Very good water-repellent (hydrophobic) behaviour.
  • Strong dielectric (electrical insulating) properties.
  • Low surface tension for excellent wetting and spreading ability.
  • High flash point and good heat resistance
Uses
  • Used as a release agent for moulds and tooling.
  • Acts as a lubricant in mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Functions as an antifoam agent to control foam formation.
  • Serves as a water-repellent treatment for surfaces and textiles.
  • Works as a liquid dielectric in electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Can be used as a heat-transfer fluid in thermal management systems.
  • Added to polishes and surface care products to improve gloss and protection.

How to use

Use AK-1000 silicone fluid by selecting the proper concentration for your application. It is non-polar and not miscible with water or short-chain alcohols, so perform small-scale tests if blending is needed. It mixes well with many organic solvents such as hydrocarbons, ethers, and ketones.

For coatings, polishes, or release agents, dilute as required and ensure surfaces are clean for uniform application. Store in sealed containers in a cool, dry place. Always follow the product’s technical and safety guidelines.
